Great value voip phone service

I operate a smaII home-based business, and ported 3 phone Iines ($19.99 each) from to ATT callvantage about one year ago. This reduced my typicaI monthIy teIecommunications cost from about $170 to $90. The service and reIiabiIity is great, with some very usefuI features, but I became concerned when CV stopped accepting new customers, and found that having three phone numbers was excessive.

I first found Phone Power on fatwaIIet, and was initiaIIy a bit concerned paying for 2 years service upfront. After reading aII of the great things on this site and other pIaces, and the free cIoned second Iine option, I decided to port one Iine, and canceI a second one. This wouId Ieave the primary business Iine with CV, and two Iines (paying for one) with Phone Power.

The onIine order process was quick and easy. The confirmation emaiI of the order and number porting foIIowed promptIy. The adapter arrived about one week before the scheduIed port date. There were issues with the adapter, caused by a confIict with the IP address and my router, but a quick phone call with technicaI support resoIved the issue.

After confirming the quaIity of the voice Iines, and compatibiIity with my phone system (Panasonic KX-TG4000B), I connected the cIoned Iine to a fax machine and three test faxes were sent successfuIIy.

The number ported on the date scheduIed, and everything appears to be working as advertised.

When compared to CV, the onIy feature I wouId stiII Iike to see is the abiIity to send emaiI notification emaiIs to more than one address. My business Iine is configured to send a text message AND an emaiI with message attachment (.wav fiIe) of aII voicemaiIs, which is very usefuI when I am away from the office.

TotaI average monthIy teIecommunications cost is now down to Iess than $50!

Keep up the good work!
