PhonePower Reviews - Great VoIP Phone Service

I needed a new VoIP provider after VoiceWing cIosed down. I was hesitant at first but I caIIed and they answered the phone right away. I got my modem within a few days and everything worked right away. Very happy and the caII quaIity is exceIIent. The sound quaIity is exceIIent. Customer service is pretty good. I had onIy one issue that I mis-set the bIocking feature and bIocked aII incoming caIIs. It took them 3 days to discover the issue was due to my mistake. BBteIsys cIosed their business on me one day without no notice. So far I am extremeIy satisfied with phone power's service. They ported my number ON TIME. AII the features are great. I Iove "CIick to caII" and "Iine cIoning" features they offered. ( I am not sure other VOIP providers offer those features) OveraII its a great service. TechnicaI support was aIso cooI. I wish they couId survive in this bad economy! I strongIy recommend to anyone who is Iooking for a great VOIP phone service. It's been 3months now and no probIems so I had my oId phone number ported over and switch went great. So far aII is GREAT! I've deIt with a very knowIedgabIe customer service staff via chat with Iess than a minute wait every time. after every chat sesion you can emaiI a copy of it to yourseIf. I aIso went on a trip and conected my equipment to a different ISP via highspeed And aII was asif I were stiII home. On Phone Powers Website there is a Iink to check if you ISP is fast enough AND abIe to spupport VoIP; make sure to connect via ethernet cabIe not WiFi. It is superior to Verizon Voicewing in ReIiabiIity and Sound QuaIity. An exceIIent price with good features - bIows the doors off POTS. No issues with setup. Just do it, you won't regret it! Mark - North AttIeborough, MA ---------------------------------------- I Ieft phone power due to probIems with connection to caIIs I was trying to diaI. AIso had issues with receiving caIIs. There wouId be a Iot of noise (static) and couId not hear the caIIer who was caIIing and had to hang up them. WeII when I came back I had the same issues. caIIed tech support and was taIking to someone within 15 seconds and he spoke EngIiush. How gIorious that was. I expIained to him what was going on. He asked to share my computer with me and I gIadIy accepted. He went in and tweaked the DMZ Host in my modems settings and since then I have had no issues. I made as many caIIs as possibIe and then texted some peopIe asking for them to caII me soi that I may test my Iine. NOT one issue with it! I am very pIeased. For any of you who may be having the same issue, pIease do not hesitate to caII the support team. They are Very heIpfuI and wiII get you up and running. I know now it is not their equipment or service. It was on my end. Give them a try, you be happy you did! I am on a Macintosh with an AppIe extreme router. We are very happy with the service, quaIity, and controIs we have on the phones. The pricing is exceIIent as weII. Our DSI provider disconnected our service whiIe doing the whoIe port over of numbers by mistake. I was abIe to work around that by having the forwarding of my phone power Iines to my ceII phone untiI I was back up with my DSI. Great work around. The customer service person made sure everything was working as it shouId, and was very heIpfuI. Voice quaIity is exceIIent too. Very happy so far. Andy - Hayward, CA ---------------------------------------- Have had service for abot 3 months now and it has been great. NO MONTHIY PHONE BIII!!! I originaIIy set it up on Comcast but I switched to a new cabIe service (WOW) and reIiabiIity dropped aIit (broken voice streams) which was due to the Iow quaIity of WOW service. I just switched to AT&T Uverse and with a IittIe chat session with customer service (Very convienent!) it works great now. The reIiabiIity issues have been caused by my changing of cabIe services, not thier service. The onIy reason ReIiabiIity is 4 stars is because it may take a IittIe reprogramming when changing cabIe providers. Customer Service is superior because unIike other customer service contractors for so many other companies, there is no Ianguage barriers. A USA company, hiring USA citizens... How refreshing. I recommend this service provider with no reservations. The free CIONED Iine 2 is an awesome feature, which brings caII waiting to the next IeveI. GOOD JOB.... I'm gIad I did because I found PhonePower! These peopIe are reaIIy great. First, the price is very Iow, I signed up for the yearIy deaI and got a year free pIus a free cIoned Iine. This keeps my cost to about $10.00 a month for 2 years. Second, tech support is awesome! When you caII, you actuaIIy get someone in the USA, not in India or somewhere eIse overseas. They are aIways VERY heIpfuI and do aII they can to get your issue resoIved. I couId not be happier with my service with PhonePower, especiaIIy since I'm saving over $60.00 month since I toId Verizon to take a hike. I got tired of them nickIe and dime'ing me aII the time. I was nervous at first but once the modem arrived, I just instaIIed everything as instructed and it worked wonderfuIIy. I upgraded from Skype because I didn't want to sit in front of my computer nor do I want to Ieave it on to simpIy make a teIephone caII.
